This allows the rider to electronically control the adjustment of the front and rear suspension damping, automatically adapting the rear shock absorber pre-load settings to reflect the terrain being covered and load carried, to provide optimal grip and drive in any situation. Second only in desirability to the early Bonneville the pre-unit Trophy can only become increasingly collectible.

This one was made by Bast Brothers who were a Welding outfit in Van Nuys here in SoCal. Essential for any Desert Sled it a sturdy Bash Plate to protect the Cases from rocks and such like. It's been sitting a long time. Lights and exhaust baffles were removed, cut-down seats replaced the original, and offroad tires were fitted, along with a substantial metal skid plate to protect the engine. Coil ignition replaced the magneto. The fuel tank is in exceptional condition with the original badges and no Dents! Hate to sell it, but I am not riding it as much as my other bike. The bike has been featured in Dice Magazine Issue in hand as well. The bike's appearance in The Great Escape and Steve McQueen's fondness for the model are well known. Changes for 1966 included an eyebrow tank badge and 12-volt electrics.
